“No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.”-Socrates

What is calisthenics?

Calisthenics is a form of strength training that uses your bodyweight as resistance for exercise. In it's simplest form it can be an exercise such as a squat or a press-up, but then progresses to harder exercises such as the pull up, muscle up, handstand, front and back levers, and human flag.

It can be a very creative and fun way of training, that will not only push you hard, but also build an unrivalled mind-body connection. Although calisthenics training is tough, the sense of reward you get from mastering your bodyweight is second to none.

Why train with me?

I have been training calisthenics as my main form of training since 2017, spending hours, days and months learning skills such as the handstand, front lever and planche. It has required a level of patience and determination I didn't know I possessed, but it is a journey I am so thankful to be on. I am now a Calisthenics Pro qualified calisthenics instructor, which has given me the tools I need to teach.

I get as much, if not more joy from helping people to achieve things they once thought impossible, whether that be their first pull up, a 10 second handstand hold, a solid back lever, or an amazing human flag, than I got from achieving those things myself. Helping people to reach phenomenal levels of strength and control is not just a job for me, it is a passion.

1-2-1 Calisthenics

Whether you're brand new to exercise, or someone who's been training for years, there is always something to push you in all the right ways with calisthenics. Your goal may be to learn how to do a pull up, master the handstand, or just get generally stronger. Whatever your goals, I can help you to achieve them. Sessions are priced at £50 per hour session.

"But it’s the personal calisthenics training which has been utterly transformational for me personally. My strength level is unrecognisable to where I was before we started. I am now doing some of the more advanced technical skills, mastering moves I believed would be simply impossible for me to achieve."

Group Calisthenics sessions

Prefer to train with a group of strong, like-minded people in a supportive, yet hard-working environment. We've got you covered. I currently run two group calisthenics sessions for all backgrounds and abilities. Sessions are £10 per hour class.
